Audio examples coming soon
The drum break before it is sliced and rearranged.
Coming soon
A powerful tracker-style audio plugin for modern producers. Transform drum breaks into entirely new rhythms with precision and creative freedom.
Workflow
Four stages, from a drum break to a rhythm you built yourself.
Discover the individual sounds within your breaks.
Rebuild rhythms through precise tracker-style editing.
Shape hits with creative controls and effects.
Combine patterns into evolving rhythmic arrangements.
The software
The development interface keeps the tracker, the patterns, and the waveform in one view.
Enter slices and values on a step grid, and keep the whole pattern in view while you edit.
Inspect the sampled audio and the boundaries between slices on the waveform.
Build patterns, then arrange them into a longer part.
The development interface includes a tempo readout and time-stretching options. Exact stretch behaviour is still to be confirmed.
Interactive experience
A browser-based interactive tracker prototype will let visitors explore the workflow. The p5.js sketch is not on the site yet.
Coming soon
A browser-based tracker prototype will be embedded here, so the workflow can be explored without installing the plugin.
Audio
Two examples are planned: an original break, and a TRACK-R arrangement made from it. The recordings are not on the site yet.

Approach
TRACK-R is being built for producers who want to take a drum break apart and put it back together on their own terms.
Tracker-style editing keeps each slice on a step, so a rhythm can be rewritten without losing sight of the source.
A pattern is a short place to try an idea. Several patterns can be combined as the part grows.
Slice boundaries stay visible on the waveform, so an edit can be checked by eye as well as by ear.
Release
TRACK-R is in development. Release information and demonstrations will follow. It is not on sale, and this site does not take payment.
